If the decision on abortion rights were solely up to you, how would you balance individual freedom with ethical concerns?

 @9M276CV from New York answered…2wks2W

I think to have rights and to make reasonable choices for your own benefits is obviously a better alternative than taking away peoples opportunities and basic human rights due to insufficient knowledge, money, materials, health and more being a conflict between them and the choice of having a child.

 @9M27PP3Republican from Florida disagreed…2wks2W

Certainly, ensuring that individuals have the rights and resources to make informed choices about their lives, including the decision to have children, is essential for promoting autonomy and well-being. Denying people the opportunity to exercise their reproductive rights due to factors like lack of knowledge, financial means, access to healthcare, or other resources can result in profound injustices and limit individuals' ability to lead fulfilling lives.

 @9M26PHB from Florida answered…2wks2W

I would give them both an equal amount of attention and effort to see how it will all play out in the end.

 @9M26GT6answered…2wks2W

you could balance between the personal freedom to decide what is right and societal influence.

 @9M26F4M from North Carolina answered…2wks2W

I would say if the parents feel like they won't be able to take care of the child and they want to have an abortion than they should for the child safety.

 @9M29ZFFConstitution from Washington disagreed…2wks2W

"For child safety" is the most ridiculously asinine response as a reason to justify killing the child. Only a living brain donor could call that logical.

In your opinion, should states have the power to control access to medical treatments, or should there be a nationwide standard?

 @9M26GT6answered…2wks2W

 @9M26C4Q from Illinois answered…2wks2W

I think it could be argued that Abortion is not even a medical treatment so this question doesn't apply.

 @9M2G3KL  from Texas disagreed…2wks2W

States should not have the power to control access to medical treatments because states can limit medical treatments.

 @9M2D8SQ from Utah disagreed…2wks2W

The fact that abortion is most successfully done in a medical facility means that it should be co soldered a medical treatment.

 @9M25V3K from Connecticut answered…2wks2W

in my opinion there should be a nationwide standard why should the gov. control what women do with there selfs

 @9M25TXCPeace and Freedom from Utah answered…2wks2W

I think that if this were a personal opinion from the senate then it would not be reasonable, but if it were the decision of the entire state then it would be reasonable.

 @Dem0cr4tGnuConstitution from Indiana commented…2wks2W

There won't be a ground zero.

Every state has to decide its position on abortion, because that's how the law should've worked all along.

Today's politicians are just "Performance Artists ". Trump and Lake flip flopping on abortion demonstrates they have NO core beliefs. They are purely transactional in nature and would flip back if they are elected.

 @MajorityRubyDemocrat from Minnesota agreed…2wks2W

That has been true since Reagan. Even president since then has been fundamentally unpatriotic, caring more about themselves and issues that don't matter to most Americans rather than the people and the greater good.

 @ParliamentMackenzieDemocrat from Nevada commented…2wks2W

Trump term 1 - Make abortion illegal... Done!

Trump term 2 - Make elections illegal... Work in Progress (Step 1: Call the last election results fraudulent)

 @Tacos1977Republican from Ohio commented…2wks2W

Biden Term 1: arrest my political opponents...done!

Biden Term 2: make a America a 3rd world nation...almost done!

 @FlamingoChuckWomen’s Equality from Indiana commented…2wks2W

Republican politicians in Arizona are backtracking, they say they do not support AZ Supreme Court ruling that almost near total abortion ban is enforceable. Sorry Republicans, that boat has sailed AZ will be solid blue state come 2025. Women don’t trust the red party, why would they?

 @ISIDEWITHasked…2wks2W

How would it affect your view of democracy if a government action directly contradicted what the majority of the public supports?
