@9H8NNRQ6mos6MO

@9H8QCF66mos6MO

How does nostalgia for past traditions influence your preferences or behavior in the present?
@9KXWXJ42mos2MO
Traditions aren’t for government. We should be evolving and moving forward based off of experiences not traditions
@9KXWCGH2mos2MO
I believe that if things aren’t broken, you shouldn’t try to fix it. Some things don’t need change. I believe that the country has turn away from traditions that benefitted the country greatly.
@9KYBV2M2mos2MO
To live and have children they will always be different being stuck in a state of mind causes bigotry
@9KXWK6DRepublican2mos2MO
I think with my old traditions are kinda building blocks for my new ones
@9KXWCV72mos2MO
My great nostalgia for past traditions makes me more conservative.

Do you think maintaining traditional holidays in their original form is important, or should they evolve with society?
@9KXWRXBRepublican2mos2MO
Traditional holidays can be celebrated however person celebrating wants.
@9KZL6YJ2mos2MO
Do you think maintaining traditional holidays in their original form is important, or should they evolve with society? i think that its a a persons business if they want to do that.
@9KXWKKD2mos2MO
I think keeping holidays how they are originally is very important, because i do not want to partake in lgtbq christmas
The Christmas we celebrate now doesn't resemble its original form at all. If all you care about is LGBTQ people, you don't care about tradition or the religious aspect of Christmas. You just want an excuse to hate gay and trans people. If you really want a more traditional and spiritual Christmas, you should be against the disgusting over-commercialization of Christmas, not the fact that sometimes queer people want to celebrate it too.
@9KXWNFP2mos2MO
Traditional holidays can be celebrated however person celebrating wants.

How do you think the preservation of language is connected to maintaining cultural traditions?
@9L2LLYYRepublican2mos2MO
it just keeps that hint of a culture around that will interest people into learning more about the culture
The United States have no official language, so in short terms yes, it's important for other people to preservate their culture but as well it's important to know how to move in a country where the majority speaks one language
@9L2LRTK2mos2MO
Preserving languages from different cultures allows for more diversity and inclusion, allowing for it to be passed down from generation to generation; without them, cultures can slowly lose the significance that language within cultures holds as it's not being passed down.
@9L2LG7L2mos2MO
it would allow for more people to be able to understand one another

How do you interpret the saying 'respect your elders,' and is it relevant in today's world?
@9J25XB64mos4MO
Yes they have a lot to teach but respect is a mutual thing you get what you give so sometimes you do what you must.
@9J257C44mos4MO
They should be treated with respect since they've lived their life and have learned from their many mistakes. That being said it's less of respect more just be nice and judge them based on you own thoughts.
@9J254DQ4mos4MO
i think that it is very important to respect them because they are very wise and know a lot.
@9J25644Republican4mos4MO
It is very relevant they should be taught with respect
@9J29QMT4mos4MO
I think that it's important to instill a sense of right and wrong in younger generations. Yes, everyone deserves respect ONCE they earn it. Respect isn't given and if an elder disrespects or harms you, then giving them respect isn't something you are obligated to do. It's important for others to feel comfortable stating their opinions and not feel offended or attacked by doing so.
@ISIDEWITH2mos2MO
Is there a tradition you uphold that connects you to a larger historical narrative, and why is it important?
@9KYVDVR2mos2MO
I want to uphold the idea that each person had nationality, and ethnicity, have a right to their own life.
@9KYTHPHRepublican2mos2MO
Yes, I want to uphold the idea that each invdividual has nationality, and ethnicity, and they have a right to their own heritage.
Not specifically. I'm Puerto Rican but we don't have any famous people in our tree.
@ISIDEWITH6mos6MO
How important is it to maintain cultural heritage in the face of globalization?
It's important but there should be a balance, we can keep our traditions while learning new ones
@9KTCRLW2mos2MO
I think that traditions are important because that's what makes going to new places so fun because its something different so with globalization we don't places to be to similar
@9KPN5BZIndependent2mos2MO
Many cultures have their own merits and values, finding ways to implement these aspects of other cultures into society at large would only benefit and enrich life.
@9HD55K66mos6MO
Preserving cultural heritage amidst globalization is vital for maintaining identity, diversity, and a sense of belonging in rapidly changing societies.
@9HD533R6mos6MO
Very important or we lose our ethics and our liberty
@ISIDEWITH5mos5MO
What does 'family values' mean to you, and how do they shape your everyday life?
@9HHQL2L5mos5MO
They mean a lot to me because they show me what family members are behind closed doors.
@9HJ45WD5mos5MO
family values mean a lot to me they shape my everyday life by altering my decisions based on my family and i instead of just myself.
@9HHQJMB5mos5MO
what you do with your family and family traditions.
@9HJ7TDX5mos5MO
Family values are like traditions and beliefs within our families. They help make you who you are, especially when it comes to some beliefs.
@ISIDEWITH6mos6MO

@9H5CXRR6mos6MO
Religious practices provide a shared background of stories and rituals to bring a community closer together.
@9H5CW3N6mos6MO
I feel that social conservatism can be very controversial and I don't have an opinion about it.
@9H5CPT76mos6MO
For practicing members, religion provides structure and community. It allows people that have the same values to be around each other and build bonds within their community.
